Problem is that so many of them ARE lying.
When you have a significant number of people lying about a supposed "cataclysmic" situation, people SHOULD question the theories and motives being offered, however, in current year, the anti-Sciencers on the Left have made it verboten to question "consensus"....

It's fine to say: "let's not over react we should study this more before making a decision"
Not fine: "global warming is a chinese hoax designed to redistribute wealth and weaken the usa"
