Hard to argue with this one. How long has that gun been in service? Anything been in service longer, and used in such a wide variety of applications?

Yeah I think John Browning started working on it after WWI and it was produced in like the very early 1930s or so. Amazing how many incredible firearms were designed by him. It stands with the A-10, B-52 and the 1911 as rock solid tools of war.

The Mosin Nagant was in service from the 1890s to the 1990s
