Thats not the criteria for making the CFP, nowhere does it say to make the CFP you have to win your conference or just win your division. Here we go with the transitive property bullshite.

I don't know why you keep the using the current rules when we're arguing what the rules should be. That's dumb.
Conference champions are determined on the field. That's the whole point of having conferences. But somehow now we don't give a shite and we put whoever the frick we want in the playoff
