I've had DirecTV Now since it came out a few years ago. I think better sometimes comes down to the device being used. DTVNow works best with the Apple TV I got when I signed up for the service. but even then, they changed some of the UI with the most recent update a few months back and it can be a bit of a pain. I also use it with a Roku, and it's not bad there per se, but still some laggy interface/ buffering issues.

actually thinking of switching to YTTV, will probably at least do a trial.
