I would have gone with "awakened" but then I am not an educator. But, prior to this fiasco, Hood has been the only statewide Democrat elected for years. I don't think the fact that Hood could win is certainly formidable against Tator Tot, it's more about Hood being already a statewide elected official running against a marginal, at best, Tate Reeves. What has happened will come up but play little into the election 2 years from now. Hood v Reeves will decide that election; and the out of state money that will support Hood.
