Louisville should hire Stefan Lefors and fire him for Brohm for old time's sake.

This is not over. Not by a long shot. Rumblings are that the Dakich sources are 2 heavily connected BBall boosters who have no clue what is going on and told Dan it was a done deal to troll him.

I'm not saying it doesn't get done....if the guy wants to coach at Louisville...he'll be their coach. All I am saying is that from what I hear, offers have been made but there has been 0 discussion back to Louisville from the Brohm camp. At worst, Brohm takes the offer and goes. At best, he uses it as leverage to get more from us and stays and brings in the best recruiting class we have ever seen.

From what I hear, Brohm is more interested in the NFL than he is in the Louisville job. Still some bad blood on how he was treated his first time there in the late 2000s. Literally nothing about the move makes sense except the history. If the AD as a whole were in a different place he'd already be gone and there would be no debate on if he's leaving or not. There is nothing UL could give him that we couldn't except being where he grew up and played.

In the end, if he does leave....outside of USC I see us as the best job open and we would likely have our pick of candidates....especially after the relative success Brohm has had here winning and recruiting above our typical level. We'll pay a guy $3.5 mil plus, give him all he wants for assistants and have top notch facilities, especially relative to the peers in our recruiting base.
