Wow, what an asinine statement.
LeBron as great as he is and he’s an all timer...his body wouldn’t even be the same in the 70s. His skills training wouldn’t be the same. His recovery methods would be different if at all. His steroids would be less advanced (kidding)...I never said he wouldn’t be great in the 70s, but he wouldn’t be the same player. So to say he would have as many points (as you ignore the 3 point inflation) is to be obtuse.
Like Shaq said if he was coming up today, they’d have him at SF.now that’s a slight exaggeration but the point stands.
Understanding the difference is key to watching the game today with proper perspective.
In 20 years when they add the 4 point line you might get it and say “Thanos was right”
