re: Uninsured Motorist Claims Process

I was hit by a girl who was playing with her radio and failed to yield. She had just purchased insurance a few days before and if I recall, her coverage kicked in 14 days after purchasing. It was some local cheap insurance.

Had to go through my insurance and they were not successful collecting from her company. My premium did go up, but it was about a year later.. And it went up by like $60/month if I recall.

Now I despise people who drive with no insurance.
