Hike, rock climb, canoe, check out Mystic Cavern cave in nearby Harrison, take a day trip to Eureka Springs, and visit the Ponca Elk Education Center.

Bring your own booze. It can be hard to find around those parts.

We stayed in nearby Kingston once at Azalea Falls Lodge. LINK It's out in the boonies.

Jasper is in the middle of nowhere.
Buffalo River but it will be very cold.
If looking for decent places to stay, will probably have to go to Eureka Springs.
Great camping spots though.

Plenty of hiking. Hawksbill Crag is a good place. Alum Cove and Lost Valley as well. You may consider renting a cabin near Jasper or close to Boxley Valley. Also, the elk herds in the Boxley Valley are great to see. It's gonna be cold. Ozark Cafe and the restaurant at Low Gap are Good eats
