My biggest:
1. Marry a woman who makes as much money as you do and does not like to spend money more than you do.
2. Don’t buy depreciating items unless they are essential and can’t be purchased any other way.

That's a good one. I'm trying to teach our kids the value of things and the importance of taking care of your possessions so that they last a long time. It's a uphill battle, but I think they are better than 90% of kids these days at it.
