re: How do I get involved in civil war reanactments?

Went to Fort Gaines on Dauphin Island AL this summer and several guys from Louisiana were dressed up in civil war outfits and were cooking and spending the night. Some wives / girflfriends were with them and dressed up as well. Nice guys and were all pumped to get the chance to spend the night inside the fort. Wasn’t a war reenactment but was interesting. I don’t remember exactly where in LA they were from. Lafayette maybe. Good luck to you
