When you have sanctions posing a 5 year probation, 2 year bowl ban, 21 scollie cut, and a carousel of mediocre coaches because of said sanctions, any program in the country would be bad and suffer in recruiting. Just for the record, Alabama has a .748 winning % for the last 6 decades, LSU is not far behind at .685.

Winnning football isn’t baked into the bricks of the athletic complex. Of course it’s mostly Saban, with a passionate fan base behind him that enables the university to give him what he needs to execute his vision.
