Doesn’t change the fact that they played everyone close, including Bama, and shutout top 10 OM 30-0 the next week.

Bert had that team on the cusp on being a pretty good team and it was clear all season. They were very physical and one of the best run defenses in the country, had a good QB in Allen and an outstanding running game as well, a perfect combination for them after we just lost an overtime slugfest to Bama.


We still came out flat and unfocused, and that’s on Miles for sure.

But that was not some awful team we lost to that freezing cold fricking night.

LF was banged up in the Bama game, didn’t practice all week, and was questionable to play at all.

Magee and DW were always going to get most of the work there.

Awful game though, no question.
