If the plane “abruptly dove” due to some crazy flight monitoring software malfunction then the pilots should have simply turned off the autopilot and pulled up. But Asian pilots suck pretty fricking bad so I wouldn’t be surprised if they rode it all the way in wondering why the computer wasn’t saving them.

If the report is accurate, the issue can only arise during manual flight controls.

Just because autopilot is off does not mean the computers are not controlling flight controls and information.

I think bad readings led to improper inputs.
