I’ll give you one small example, since you apparently didn’t watch the game:

Every single shotgun play was posed as a RPO. Borrow consistently wasted time acting as if he would handoff. Bama NEVER respected even the chance of the run, thus, this only took away precious time Joe needed in the pocket to throw. After 2 quarters, it should have been very apparent to E that this simply was not worth doing. But he never made an adjustment.
