LSU's season has been one that exceeded expectations but I don't think this Orgeron thing is gonna work out. You can't go out and score zero in the biggest game of the regular season. Anthony Jennings and Cam Cameron did better than that. I think Aranda needs to be our head coach and move Corey Raymond or Bill Busch to defensive Coordinator. Next, go out and get Hugh Freeze, Kendal Briles or Art Briles for offensive coordinator.

Now I know where all the irrational ranting is going....

It’s an agenda to get Aranda as the new head coach!

We should let Aranda pick the OC regardless of whether he’s the head coach. If an offense would give Aranda’s defense fits, it’s likely it would also work against most, if not all, other defenses.

Will never step foot on a college campus again. Nor should he be allowed to.

There was extensive discussion last night on Hannigrif and Vincent's postgame show that made a lot of good points.

To beat Bama and be a national powerhouse, first we have to recruit with them. Right now we are B+ to A- and that is good enough to get to 10-2. They pointed out that you look at in the last 30 yrs the dominant programs was due to coaches. When said coach (i.e. Spurrier, Meyer, Saban, and a few others) the same programs they had smokin it were trash before and after they were there. Bama for example between Bear and Sabin were pretty mediocre except one season.

Biggest thing these guys do is bring in the talent and establish the identity of the team. So CEO is improving the talent LSU is bringing in but it is not there yet. Identity is a little fragile but I do feel we are headed to a RPO offense.

Right now, Kirby is the only one out there in the SEC that is keeping up with Sabin. Meyer is the only other one outside of the SEC keeping up with the Joneses so to speak.

As an Aranda supporter, I can say that is indeed the ultimate goal. Orgeron is just a placeholder.

Good grief. I don’t care what OC you get. Our OL was destroyed by their DL. It’s all about personnel and development. Schemes are not going to beat Bama.

Those are excuses! We have recruited better than any team that has scored on or beaten Bama!!! Those teams hired an offensive coordinator not a tight ends coach!!

Our defense? Bama was moving the ball at will.
