As good as the Patriots have been one needs to admit that 6 games every year against the Jets, Dolphins and Bills has been a huge advantage for them.

Playing 6 games every year against consistently terrible teams has given them home field advantages that they would not have had if they were in another division.

This is definitely true

And it's a tough place to play in the winter

how many times have the played those teams in the playoffs or Super Bowl? Those teams really aren't bad franchises any way.

No one has feasted on losing teams quite like New England.

Since 2002 divisional realignment, they've faced the 4th most teams that ultimately ended up with non-winning seasons. They're 130-18 in those games, and no one else is really close.

It's also worth mentioning that Peyton Manning dominated equally shitty teams in the AFC south.
