Tua’s an excellent QB, but it is the stable of big strong receivers that make him look so good. He can throw the ball in their vicinity and they have a very good chance of making the catch because their size allows them to fight for the ball. The fact that they have several receivers that fit the mold is worrisome due to the reality that they can run fresh legs out there against LSU defenders that are chasing them down every play.
LSU’s DBs are good enough to cover, but they will get burned a few times. Then it becomes a question of whether the bad plays are just big gains or TDs. And be prepared for the first offensive play from Bama being a deep pass, as well as being prepared for the deep pass if LSU gets them pinned inside the 10 yard line (they seem to burn LSU every year on this).
