All these Alabama fans that site number of penalties as any kind of proof of anything are completely diluted. Games are more influenced by the timing of calls (momentum killers), overturn scores, overturned big plays, no calls, and bad calls. Simply looking at the number of penalties is a simplistic view of the numbers and doesn't tell the whole story.
