The main thing I got from the moon scene (other than the actual landing and he making the famous speech) was letting go of his baby girl's bracelet while recalling memories of he and her in the backyard showing her the moon - having a total father to daughter moment. I got choked up in that scene. In fact, if anybody was paying attention in this movie, it wasn't just a strict account of what happened, but rather threw in the family and personal history background of the Armstrong family, from the baby dying to the struggles between he and his wife.

People are fricking stupid. Was it really that necessary to see them planting the flag? Good Lord! We know it happened.
