During weeknights, the construction work has been maddening...
Website says for "patching". I just don't know of this much patching that was needed. It has been going on for a while now. Also, where they patch it has been awful. Like speed bumps along the interstate now. Not a ton to discuss I suppose. Just wanted to vent. Anyone else going through this frustration? (one lane on interstate causing huge delays) See post on website below:
(Sorry if this has been discussed previously)

I-12 & I-10 Patching, East Baton Rouge Parish

Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 1:49:08 PM

Friday, October 12th through Friday, October 19th at 8:00 PM each night until 5:00 AM the following morning (Weather Permitting).
At least one lane will be open at all times in the following locations.

• I-12 Eastbound and Westbound between I-10/ I-12 split and the Livingston Parish Line
• I-10 Eastbound and Westbound between Acadian Thruway and the I-10/ I-12 split
• College Dr. between I-10 Eastbound Exit 158 Ramp and Corporate Blvd. WB

This closure is necessary for concrete patching and related work.

There are no vehicle restrictions.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.

Would you rather them do it during the day?

they "patch" to fix issues and yes they arent very smooth

later on they come back and finally repave over those previously completed patched sections of the road but that can take 6 months to happen sometimes

while its not the smoothest to drive over, a bump is better then hitting a pothole or open crack

that said, im with you on how hard can it be to make the patches more seamless and smooth to drive over

It’s the same company doing the i12 in satsuma. They are taking forever on both projects
