Still looking for OF help?
Perhaps. Senzel getting time in the OF is gonna help out a bit though.

Auction league with keepers/salaries question... Corey Dickerson at $8 or Springer at $30?
Both would be going into the second year of their deal out of three.
It's a deep league with 25 active players per team.
$260 auction budget for our active roster, so a little over $10 average salary.
5x5 traditional rotisserie scoring. Yes, this league still uses AVG. The other OF that I'm definitely keeping is Mitch Haniger, but I have Kyle Tucker and Nick Senzel in my minors.

I'm leaning that way because he's obviously the better player... but that might be a bit overpriced for Springer. And it might be a bit underpriced for Dickerson. I don't think either are too far off of value though.

No, he did sit some against lefties but had 500+ AB last year and hit .300 which is relevant in this league. Power numbers were down, but they were also down for Springer.
Obviously Springer in a vacuum 100% of the time, it's only the salaries that are making me think.
ETA: Other option would be to not keep Healy at $8 and keep Springer and Dickerson... that's probably the best option actually.

Dickerson for me. He's 75% of Springer for a fraction of the cost. Spend the additional money on other needs.

Isn’t Healy on the wrong side of a platoon?

$30 for Springer seems steep.

No doubt, guys. Dick is criminally underrated and should be valued much higher and a coveted asset for any team in any situation

Hmm, who owns him in this league?

And there's the OTB update. I fricking hate you sometimes, Wisey.

Anthony Alford, OF, Blue Jays Scout’s Take: "He looks insanely good. I know he’s had health issues, but to me the issue with him has always been balancing his approach and the fact that he does draw walks with some aggressiveness. He has just not missed pitches in the strike zone this spring, and he’s hit them a long way. He hit three home runs the last couple of days. It feels like each one is farther than the next one. The thing is I don’t know where he fits for them. I’m not sure what kind of trades the Blue Jays are talking about making or what their plans are, but if I were Teoscar Hernandez, I’d be worried. Because Teoscar Hernandez is similar tools, but he’s getting a little bit more expensive and he’s just a lesser defender . . . All of their veteran outfielders, (Randal) Grichuk, (Kevin) Pillar, they should be wary because Anthony Alford just looks better than all of them.
The scouts keep drooling over Alford, reddy

He's supposedly going to be the starting 3B while Seager is out, but then he'll be in a three-way platoon for 1B/DH at bats.
I think he's the odd man out.
I'm an expansion team in this league, and one of the folding teams was god awful... not a lot to choose from. I did get Trevor Story at $19 though, so that's a good starting point.

I think I’d cut Healy
He’s just not a good player
A 25-homer hitter that can’t muster a 700 OPS
