Is anyone else into VR gaming? Can you recommend any other games you have played and loved? Are you doing mixed reality? If so what is your setup?

So Beat Saber made me take the leap into VR gaming and it has been so much fun. I just recently got CREED: Rise to Glory set in the Rocky movie world and I am loving that game even more! I am using a Windows Mixed Reality headset, but I would love to talk to anyone who has a VIVE or OCULUS.

I also setup a green screen room to do Mixed Reality Gaming and it was worth all the effort.

RE7 is the best VR game and it's not even close.

Farpoint, Doom VFR, and Superhot VR were all a blast as well.

Skyrim VR is good too.

I really want to build a good VR-focused PC and pick up a Vive to do some room scale VR, but I my current house simply doesn't have the room for it. I hope to one day, though.

I am tempted to try one of the all-in-one solutions in the meantime, though, like the recently announced Oculus Quest.

Thank you for those suggestions. I need to try RE7 and Superhot is always on lists for Top Games. If you have VR would you mind sharing your setup?

The AIO solutions are intriguing. As far as the PC goes the key is a good GPU. I have a GTX 1060 in my PC and my laptop and I haven't run into any issues.... yet!

I hope they allow the PSVR version to download custom songs.

I'm shocked they never released a PC version of RE7VR.

I'm old and RE7 was the most unique gaming experience I have ever had.

Hell, I've played 3 times in VR and it still scares the piss out of me even though I know where everything is and when the real jump scares will show up.

People are saying Astro Bot is better. Came out yesterday, PSVR exclusive.

I don't have VR but just letting you know there may be another game for you to try out.

Different genre. It may be a good vr game, but it isn't in any way going to be the same experience as being in horror VR for the first time.

VR is the topic. Not Horror.

You said people are saying astro is better. I'm saying it is probably BS because VR is built to compliment horror. I said, it may be a good vr game. I doubt it is better than RE7.

That seems like an opinion of yours.

You haven't tried either so your opinion is pointless. Geez. I said Astro might be a good game but I doubt it would be as good as RE7. I'm old. I've played games my whole life. RE7 was one of the best and 100% the most unique experience to date.

Sure, it is my opinion but I can have one since I have VR and have played VR. You don't have it and haven't played either.

In summary, shut the frick up.

It's okay man, relax. Not everyone has to think like you. But by reviews and user scores the game is rated higher than RE7. I know Carson so I was just telling him he may want to check it out. I don't enjoy VR, so I wont try either. You are the one who butted in and said it wasn't better because that is impossible unless it is horror. All I said was people were saying astro was better, and they are. It is part of VR phase 2 for playstation and these newer games are supposed to take advantage of VR more. That is why this one is VR only. Wasn't my opinion. Didn't know you were so dark, enjoy your horror.

did some research on this rescue mission game. there was a brief version included in the VR Worlds gmae pack that came with the headset and it was pretty fun. Looks like this is just a fully fleshed out version. I'll probably pick it up since there's nothing good out for VR right now

Adoption has been pretty low.

I was hoping the wireless option would spur some growth in VR but with a 2 hour battery, not sure folks are going to jump on wireless.

I'm just waiting till the library builds up. As of now it looks like RE7 and beat saber are the only ones I would be willing to buy. Just isn't enough to make me want to drop...what is it? 300 bucks on it yet.

Firewall zero hour is fun. It’s basically Six Siege in VR.

One of issues is the different headset manufacturers all creating "exclusive" titles. I want to play the Marvel VR game, but it is Oculus only.

Also it seems that WMR (Windows Mixed Reality) is the red headed step child of VR. It is the last in line for support if it gets any at all.

We just need for VIVE to buy Oculus and then Microsoft to buy VIVE. That is how it goes in technology right?
