re: Growing up in the 80s

I remember we had neighborhood bullies. The older kids that would just chase you and maybe give you a punch or two, but nothing too fricked up.
And my friends and I would have sleepovers and devise goonies/monster squad type plans to get back at the older kids.

Also, parents would just drop my brothers and I off at the mall or bowling alley and we would dump quarters in the video games.
A little later (90's) I remember "winner stays" street fighter tournaments at the arcade with lines 20 deep to beat the local champ.
