Yes the Triple Option, if run correctly is unstoppable due to the 2-1 it puts you into. People seem to act like that OU was forced out of the Wishbone due to Miami, but OU was running a hybrid of it with Aikman in 85. When he broke his leg they went back into the true Wishbone and ripped off 9 straight wins and a NC.
Johnson's Flexbone isn't really run correctly because they do not add the Run n Shoot elements in it to make it run correctly. Tracey Hamm, Deandre Smith, etc are guys who ran that offense to perfection.
You can try to Bear the Defensive front, but if they start hitting the hots it forces you out of it and they widen the splits the dive is back.
