If the QB has already released the ball, I’m actually okay if the refs flag someone for “putting their weight” on top of the QB when falling to the ground.
But if the QB is still holding the ball, like this instance here, you can’t flag the defender for that. I mean how is it roughing the passer when the pass hadnt happened yet?

Can’t wait for the pendulum to completely swing the other way. All QB’s wear non-contact jerseys, and refs will make a judgement call and rule them down if they are in pursuit, like a spring game. Then it’ll be the QB’s leading the bitch fest.
