Army has a passing game

Ummm...I was at the OU/Army game. Army runs the triple option like Georgia Tech...they had 45 mins time of possession to 15 for OU. Army is not known for passing....they threw the ball 8-9 times but had well over 250 rushing...they just ate the clock

They usually throw 1 or 2 times. Last week they threw for ~200 yards. That's maybe more than all of any of the 5 previous years. That's all I meant. Not that they were Texas Tech or anything....and also, lucky you!

I didn't even watch the game, but you can easily tell by stats that Army played one of the best games of "keep away" of all times. Army ran the ball an insane 78 times (fun fact, they ran it 87 times last year in the bowl game) and passed 9 times for a total of 87 plays. Of those 87 plays, 83 came during regulation. Klyer Murray scored 4 TDs on only 22 plays. Oklahoma only ran 38 plays in regulation which is only 57% of what they have ran a game, before that Army game.

Another insane fact, one of the Oklahoma LBs had 28 tackles in that game.
