New Orleans Saints 43 @ Atlanta Falcons 37 Final - FOX

Welcome back to the Saints Game Thread
This week... it's hate week as the Saints are on the road for the 1st time this season to take on long-time rival the Atlanta Falcons. The big question that we'll find out here in a bit... is Falcons WR Julio Jones good to go? He was limited on Friday after missing Wednesday and Thursday with a calf injury. Meanwhile, their RB Devonta Freeman is out with a knee injury, just like our RB Mark Ingram is serving the 3rd of his 4 game suspension.
Can the Saints get it all to click together finally? After the offense carried the load in week 1, it was the defense's turn to do the heavy lifting last week until the offense got in gear just in time to survive the Browns. On the offensive front, it sounds like maybe, maybe Cameron Meredith is finally ready to go. We'll see.
The GOAT Drew Brees (6,287) should break Brett Favre's NFL career completions record (6,300) at some point in today's game, even as soon as the 1st half.
WHO DAT!! BEAT THE DIRTY BIRDS!! LET'S GET TO 2-1!!

I have two matchup questions. which LB will be covering coleman out of the backfield and who will be covering Ridley? I just anticipate them exploiting those two weakspots. I have a feeling Lattimore will show up, not sure about the rest of the D

I wish we'd just put Davis at MLB and keep him there. Let Robertson and Anzalone rotate at WLB and let Klein play at SLB only. I feel Robertson and Anzalone can do decent covering Coleman, they are better coverage LBs than run stuffers. They are gonna be doing more zone coverages more likely anyways so it's probably irrelevant.

DeShazier & Sean Kelly seemed to think on Friday's video on the Saints website that Cam Robertson could start getting more PT

Thanks. As much as I hate Dennis Allen's zone schemes, its probably for the best considering how awful our man coverage has been so far this season

of course... we're on Brees record watch
Drew Brees is 13 completions away from Brett Favre's NFL record for career completions... so that theoretically should be broken some point today

At least if we lose, they still choked the hugest SB lead in history. 28-3 never forget
