Police began investigating after hospital staff alerted them to the fact that Tyanne Sweeting died from starvation, and when officers arrived at the Extended Stay America hotel on Jimmy Carter Boulevard in Peachtree Corners, where the McIntoshes were staying, they found three “severely malnourished” children, ages 5, 3 and 3.

Calvin McIntosh fathered two of the children with Najlaa McIntosh, police said, as well as two others with the elder Sweeting, one of them being the deceased.
