A great book to read that talks about just how well our world and society are doing (in spite of MSM biased reporting) is Factfulness. Here is a pic from that book that shows different income levels. I’m pretty sure these five people they found are on Income Level 3 as opposed to those that are poor in real life (level 1 and level 2).
Sure ... they may wish they were in Level 4 but that is in no way considered Extreme Poverty compared to others in this world.
