My favorite capo for over 20 years now is the Shubb's original. You can adjust the clamp tension via a screw to perfectly mimic your barre finger pressure, meaning you don't face intonation woes or frets eaten alive (very $$$ to fix) via too hard of a clamping capo, or flubbed notes by a capo that doesn't squeeze tight enough. It's also physically small and bulletproof durable. I cannot recommend the Shubb's unit more highly for too many reasons.

Thanks for the responses.I guess I'll have to get used to it.

I have large hands too,so I'll just have to work with it.

Thanks.

I’ve been using Shubb for 25yrs and love it for my acoustics. However I’m hunting a good capo for my tele that will allow me to play leads without pulling the strings out of place.
