re: What were you doing on 9/11?

I was at Fort Bragg in the barracks after doing PT that morning. I was running late when my first line supervisor called. I apologized for it but he said to stop right there and put on the news if I hadn't seen it as he said: "we're under attack, stay in the barracks until you hear back from me". Within an hour the entire post was on lockdown with guards posted everywhere and 100% ID check anywhere you went if you weren't in uniform.
