That's how it was for me too.

It happened during 2nd period. Someone came to our class and said to turn on the TV because a plane just flew into the WTC. Our teacher never took his chalk off the board and taught through the period. Class let out and people were going nuts in the hallways. Got to 3rd period and still hadn't seen any video. Principal comes on the PA and says two planes have flown into the WTC towers, both have collapsed, and a plane has flown into the Pentagon and it has collapsed. The entire time I though it was some kind of tourist prop plane that hit the building by mistake. Hearing that announcement blew my mind. We said a prayer as a school and then watched coverage the rest of the day. I'll never forget it, like all of you.
