Oh they are, but are human beings that you can relate to if they are local. If they aren’t local the sheriff or game wardens are your best bet as the hunters are likely in a pack or have been drinking. We’ve had nails thrown in our driveway and young dudes yell FU to my 85 y/o dad when his back was turned after he gave them their dogs back at night, when my brother and I weren’t there. We constantly remind each other it’s only deer and most of these hunters seem like they have nothing to lose, so ultimately it’s best to leave it alone if you’re outnumbered, it’s dark or they are acting aggessively. Sad state but reality.
