The “GOP” has strayed from conservatism over the past few years. However, conservatives believe in making good, responsible decisions. I made sure to not impregnate a woman until we were married for a few years. I made sure said woman was a person I wanted to be the mother of my child and I would be able to sustain a relationship with the rest of my life. I don’t need the government to dictate terms to be because I practice individual responsibility. Do I find the sexism and double standard in government appalling, sure, but I contribute it to the over-reaching arm of the government as a whole.
