Good man and a good, but not great coach. Great recruits but always seemed to underperform. His teams played with a lack of discipline.
And he showed ZERO emotion on the sidelines (or at any time) and had zero personality. Sometimes a coach needs to show some fire, but Richt NEVER did.

Richt actually has a great sense of humor. I heard him speak at a Christian athletic function & he was both very entertaining and quite funny. I saw a game last year where he had to be held back by coaches/players as he was after a ref. Maybe simply being @ Miami has changed him as he is not quite as docile as he appears.
