Saw an Interesting Bumper Sticker Today

It said "Not all handicaps are visible. I have fibromyalgia." Then it had the handicap symbol.
Is fibromyalgia now considered a handicap??

simply having it...I would say no. However, there are certainly some number of folks who are disabled by it.

I always thought this was a made up disease to excuse laziness, fatness and pain pill prescriptions.

Speaking of bumper stickers, somebody has a picture on their profile that says”Honk if you want your arse kicked by the LSU football team.” I wish that was a real sticker, i want one.

I know one person who had fibromyalgia until they figured out it was really Cushing's.

One of my cousins' wives has it. He says it pretty much prevents her from doing anything she doesn't want to do.

That commercial came on at a family gathering and my stepdads comment was fibromyassa. Thought my grandmother was going to blow a gasket apparently she had some friends with it
