Fun fact for the open border Libs.
The Guyanese government happily accepted Jim Jones and his socialist cult into the disputed jungles near the Venezuelan border because they thought that if the Venezuelans ever crossed into these disputed areas, the American military would force them out to protect the Americans in Jonestown.

That land has been disputed by Venezuela for the last 100 years, Guyana, the UN and the world say its Guyana leave them alone.
Then a few years ago Exxon found a HUGE oil field off the coast and Venezuela started protesting to the US for Exxon to back off. The normal channel would be to complain to the secretary of state, who at the time was Rex Tillerson. Rex previous job was head of Exxon.....when Venezuela siezed all their assets. Revenge trully is best served cold eh?
