I agree.

I'll add: the claims and "demands" are nebulous. Once it was: voting rights, access to public schools ( deseg), right to sit anywhere on the bus, deseg of water fountains, etc. Specific demands - measurable and verifiable.

Now , it is "equity" and "privilege". Squishy and unverifiable. It is my only issue with the NFL kneeling. I don't get bothered by it. But, there is no "end point". No way to measure when one has succeeded.

And as long as someone or some group has more you can always claim that things aren't equitable.

It's one of the points Ben Shapiro makes often. When people ask him about "systemic racism," he always says (paraphrasing)...

"show me where the systemic oppression is and I will be right there by your side fighting it. But you can't just say 'there's systemic oppression' with nothing concrete behind it. If there's no concrete problem to solve, then there is nothing me, you or anyone else can do about it."

They never have any good examples of concrete "systemic racism."
