I think HRC and the Dems saw the real poll numbers and knew she was in trouble, despite the MSM predicting an overwhelming win, at least one predicting a 100%chance. Recall she cancelled the fireworks show the night before the election. They were trying to get the Russian narrative out before the election-dossier in 2016 and some buzz about it and the trump tower /Russian bank press release one week pre election. They didn’t take the bait at the trump tower meeting. Alternatively, it was their insurance policy if trump won.
