Does that patent apply to only that original DNA code...as soon as there is a genetic variant, with unique properties, does that void the conditions of that specific patent??

This just shows me how extremely stupid you are. This isnt just some seed. Millions of dollars of research and development goes into creating GMO's. If you don't think a company should be able to profit off their hard work then you are an idiot. There is good reason why countries with strong proprietary protection laws breed innovation.
