That’s why I think they should use objective criteria like winning your conference and SOS.
If South Carolina beats Georgia last year you think South Carolina would have deserved a spot in the playoff over Alabama?

Again with the purely subjective opinions. A) These things change B) you still have to win your conference

Would they also beaten Auburn? I would tend to doubt it but if so then the 4 highest ranked conference winners would have been Clemson, OU, Ohio St and USC
