The only way Canada loses is if they back down. I'm amazed that anyone is supporting the KSA.
No one is supporting KSA - they look insane for doing this.
The entire world is watching Canada look weak, ineffectual, and incompetent for not knowing how to deal with it.
Trump has shaken the international order to its core and basically put the Western world on notice, that they need to show some spine in foreign disputes or else get run over. So I guess it comes down to 1 of 2 options:
1. Is it dangerous for Trump to have pulled the curtain back on weak leaders like Troudeau or
2. Is it more dangerous for weak leaders to cloak themselves in the protection of the US military and enrich themselves in the US economy while demanding that we handle their business for them?

Behold your eyes on truth.

Only if they back down. Sweden criticized the KSA in 2015 similarly, and were forced to walk back their criticism. If the Canadians walk back their criticism, then yes, they will look weak. If they continue to walk their own line, then they won't.
The Canadians, to my knowledge, have only asked for the US/UK to be intermediaries. They've also become more entrenched in their original position.

else get run over.
The KSA won't run over anyone without massive US support. MBS has made an authoritarian system even more authoritarian, and they have no room to walk back anything. The only countries that have come out supporting the KSA are Russia, Algeria, and if I recall, Pakistan. And it's odd that people say that this is an issue of sovereignty while also ignoring the massive amount of influence the Saudi lobby has in the US. The issues of sovereignty only work one way, seemingly.
