Secret Superdome Football Attendance Record

Does anyone know why the Football Attendance record for the Superdome isn't listed anywhere on the Superdome's Wikipedia page?
It should be LSU v. Ohio State. Not Saints v. Ravens, as listed.
Thoughts?????????

I have two guesses:
1. Because it exceeded the allowable occupancy and they don't want to put it out there.
or
2. Because they don't want to show that attendance to a college game eclipsed the record for an NFL game in the pro team's home stadium.

What's the big deal? Pro teams don't have alumni, and the largest NFL stadium seats 30,000 fewer than the largest college stadiums.

They used to do an expanded configuration for college ball. The sideline seats were on rails that would move back for college and seats were added in the front. Since they put club seats in the bowl I don't think the rails are still there

It should have been 1/9 but a bunch of LSU fans sold their tickets or didn’t go.

Since it's Wikipedia, you can edit the entry yourself and add the LSU-OSU Championship Game attendance of 79,651 and fix it.

That's fine. My point is that the Superdome has a complex when it comes to being shown up by college football.
