Not true!!! Yes KF has to take responsibility for his actions which he has done. But there has to be fair penalties for the crime! You don't lock a person up for 10 years for stealing a pack of gum. You don't derail and possibly end a kids career for what he did!!!!

You look at the crime and make sure the punishment is just. That punishment is way too over the top. Did Otto Warmbier deserve to die because he stole a picture in North Korea? The answer is obviously NO!!!

Kristian Fulton was young and stupid and made a mistake. Imagine that a young man made a stupid mistake, what is new about that? The whole point of a punishment is to deter the young man from making that mistake again. Does anyone really believe KF would have made that mistake again after a year of being suspended?? I would have bet, absolutely NOT!

It is just so wrong on so many levels, the NCAA is now interfering with this kids possible career going forward and that should not be allowed!!!

Were the penalties in place before he did this dumb move?

Change the penalties to fit the crime going forward.

No one to blame but KF. I do not understand the people defending him. This is all on him.

Dudebro2......
You need to calm down with all of the "10 years for stealing gum" analogies.

WRONG......These punishments also send a message to others (not to break the rules). Your attitude is a large part of what is wrong with today's youth.....not taking responsibility for your actions. Here's a thought....quit recruiting thugs.
