That's what I'm thinking as they would occur in rapid susession in a great span of distance in just a matter of a couple seconds. Most of them were well "outside" of the light but within casting distance. Not once did I see any fish of any size or shadow in the water. They were causing absolute meyhem to those smaller fish. In an hour or so I heard/ saw it happen no less than 30 times

I also upgrade my hooks on spooks and topdogs.
Spook jr is the on I have had them most success with.

I have a blue and chrome super spook jr that has caught the majority of my topwater specks. It needs to be calm for it to work though. With a little chop I like throwing one of the top dogs.

I use the cheap ones from Wal Mart. I catch my share with them.

What in the hell was chasing mullet all over the water this morning? I'm not talking about small bait, it was 10" or so mullet (I assume) making 20-50 of them to go to the surface and jumping out of the water in an organized fashion.

I've been too dang busy to fish the last few weeks , but I've been seeing tons of pics/videos of all the bull reds lately. They are thick right now.

I use bombers or spook when the water is calm, when rougher will use top dog jrs or she dogs. She dogs work better on trout and top dogs for redfish.
