Nice area, only major drawbacks is air travel. Very, very small airport, limited flights and the flights they do have are expensive.

True but with a 2 ish hour drive and you can be at ATL or CLT and fly direct to virtually anywhere.

about an hour from CLT, you can get to anywhere out of there
