well since 90% of the wooded areas are now concrete shopping centers and sub divisions they dont have as many, why is that surprising?
go in the woods and they are just as plentiful as ever but they dont live around concrete jungles

I just got back from a camping trip and can attest that the damn crickets and katydids are louder than Tiger Stadium at night
