What are the chances that this guy finally breaks through? He threw a two-hitter today, and did well in his previous start. Is this a breakout year for him?

He definitely has had consistency issues, but his stuff is straight nasty. It seems he can put out solid starts, as long as he doesn't give up much in early innings. Last year, he would have meltdowns if surrendered any runs in the first inning.

Hopefully he can keep his head on straight after these two solid starts. With Garza and Kazmir both banged up, the Rays desperately need solid outings from him.

He's been poised to be a breakthrough guy for what, 5 years now? There's a fine line between being the next badass and being Dallas McPherson

Maybe he's thinking of Edwin Encarnacion instead of Edwin Jackson?

It's impressive what he's done versus the Yankees and Mariners. I hope he keeps it up b/c I need to replace Gorzelanny soon...
