Couple things. Other may have said but I will confirm. The can ban law is back in the city of New Braunfels.

First, the guad is very low.(as low as I have seen it) If you tube the Horseshoe you will be pulling your group the last half. I did it a few weeks ago. On the guad conditions are very slow. I'm not doing the guad again this summer.

The only part of the guad that has the can ban is if you start in Greune at Rockin R. That section is in New Braunfels city limits.

All of the Comal is in New Braunfels city limits so the can ban is in effect. The water level in the comal is constant.

The San Marco's is about 12 miles north and does not have a can ban. The water level is constant.

I will be at the comal this weekend. I picked up the big one gallon jugs from rtic to take beer in. The one gallon rtic cost $27 and holds ten beers. Buccees should have them for sale.

Otherwise, I've seen plenty of people out there with pony kegs, or camelbaks, yeti cups, etc.

Dont chance it because they are checking folks and writing tickets if your in a can ban section.

This is what I have been using this summer.

rtic one gallon
